We carry out a wide range of Periodic Inspections and Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) for both private clients and letting agents.
A full and detailed report is provided, highlighting any deficiencies found within the installation along with details of any remedial works that may be required. Please note that you are under no obligation to use our services for any remedial works, although many customers choose to do so.
Should you wish to obtain a quotation for an EICR, please click the link below, email us at mickhelectrical@outlook.com, or call 01832 593008.
Thank you.
A full property rewire can seem like a daunting task. In some cases, it may involve chasing walls to install new cables for sockets and light switches. In others, it may require lifting floorboards and accessing loft spaces in order to install new lighting circuits and fittings.
Whatever the requirements of your project, we will always aim to use the least intrusive installation methods wherever possible.
As a general guide, the rewire of a vacant three-bedroom property typically takes around 4–5 days for a two-man team to complete.

We supply and install all major makes and models of EV charge points for both domestic and commercial properties. This includes 3.6kW (16A) chargers for smaller vehicles and limited-capacity supplies, the more common 7.4kW (32A) home chargers, and 22kW three-phase chargers for faster charging where a suitable three-phase supply is available.
To enquire about the suitability of your property for an EV charger installation, simply click the Home EV Charger link and complete the short questionnaire.
Once we receive your information, we will assess your requirements and advise on the most suitable solution for your property. In many cases, if sufficient information is provided, we can also provide an installation quotation without the need for a home visit.
For workplace chargers, government grants are currently available which can contribute towards installation costs. Grants of up to £350 per charging socket may be available, subject to eligibility. To make an enquiry, please click the Work Place Charger link and complete the short form.
You will also require a government voucher code for the number of chargers being applied for. This can be obtained via the Work Place Grant Voucher Application link.
There are also grants available for renters and flat owners. Further information can be found here:
Electric Vehicle Chargepoint Grant for Renters and Flat Owners
Once your enquiry has been submitted, we will contact you to arrange a site visit if any further information is required.
As a company, we regularly upgrade and replace outdated electrical installations within domestic properties. Many homes still contain older electrical systems that may no longer meet current safety standards or the increasing demands of modern living.
An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is the best way to assess the safety and condition of an installation and identify any areas that may require improvement or remedial work. Regular inspections can help ensure your property remains safe, compliant, and suitable for continued use.
We can evaluate the electrical installation of any property, provide professional recommendations to improve safety and performance, and carry out any remedial or upgrade works required, including consumer unit replacements and full or partial rewires.

All smoke detectors and heat alarms have a recommended service life and should be replaced after their expiry date. In most cases, alarms are designed to last approximately 8–10 years.
Although older alarms may still sound during cooking or when tested, this does not necessarily mean they will operate correctly in the event of a real fire. As smoke detectors age, their sensors can become less reliable and may fail to respond quickly enough to provide vital warning in an emergency.
We recommend regularly checking the age and condition of all smoke and heat alarms within your property to ensure they continue to provide effective protection for you and your family.
To help ensure the safety of your family and property, contact MH Electrical Services today for a free, no-obligation quotation for the inspection and replacement of smoke and heat alarms.
Early warning saves lives — don’t rely on outdated detectors to protect your home.
